Melbourne Convention Centre Development

The MCCD project is being delivered as a Public Private Partnership under the Partnerships Victoria Policy. Plenary Conventions has entered into a 25 year contract with the State of Victoria to design, build, own and manage the new Melbourne Convention Centre and existing Melbourne Exhibition Centre. An element of the facilities management services to be provided by Plenary Conventions under the PPP is security and emergency management services.

Genuine and active commitment from all three company directors and senior management team to invest significant time and resources into the transition phase to ensure that MCET experienced a seamless transition without disruption.

Flexible approach to staff selection, training and procedures that resulted in a tailored solution being provided to the existing exhibition and convention facilities.
